2nd GRADER SUSPENDED
Hope this is posted in the right area. I didn't think it warranted being put under 2nd Amendment.
A second-grader's drawing of a stick figure shooting a gun earned him a one-day school suspension in Atlantic City.
So what do you think about this? Here's the story.

The kid needs a serious talking to if the "me" and some other name is true. I think a suspension for it is absurd.

He is SEVEN YEARS OLD!
From the article:
Kyle gave the picture to another child on the school bus, and that child's parents complained about it to school officials, McDevitt said.
The child's parents complained???? This is unbelievable.
Contrast this stupidity with the recent decision to allow eleven year old girls to obtain birth control without parental consent. Liberals are a cancer to our society.

My thought exactly.
Sure, ask his parents to talk to him.
Public school teachers and administrators are really gettng crazy these days. Got to get 'school vouchers' passed. Only missed by one vote here in Florida last year.

I can't wait until my both of my son's real school years start. I KNOW I'll be at the school more than once to scream at them about these types of issues. I for one will not take these idiotic and baseless PC BS sitting down.
The moronicy is sometimes astounding....

I saw in the article about an earlier suspension b/c some boys were playing "Cops and Robbers" but using their fingers as guns. What kind of message does that send to young impressionable minds?

There has got to be a
HUGE backlash coming to all these
IDIOTS in these schools! I can't wait!

and we're allowing 11-year old girls to have access to birth control?
We're no longer allowing kids to be kids anymore.
Let 'em be as innocent & have as much fun being a kid as long as they can.
It's not about the caliber you carry, it's about how you USE it.

They are taking away our parental rights away from us. All we do is cry about it! We got to take responsible for our lives and our country! Sorry for the rant!

Man, I would have been expelled. I drew tanks running over people when I was 7. Mom still has some of the pictures.

I think our time can be measured in generations. Like, maybe one more generation at this rate.

Very interesting question. I've also wondered "What is happening to my country"? I have a theory about that.
Let's see, liberals and secular progressives have been taking over and running our schools from kindergarten to our colleges. Rather than teach of the founding of America, our forefathers, patriotism, the Constitution and what's great about America to our children they're teaching our kids how bad America is, how good socialism is and how to put a condom on a cucumber. We've got the ACLU trying to destroy personal and religious freedoms, parental authority and our national security. Soros, who hates America as it is, is spending hundreds of millions of dollars through MoveOn.org, other similar organizations and the democrats trying to socialize it. We've got liberal members of the U.S. Supreme Court citing foreign law and foreign opinion in opinions on court decisions. I could go on and on and on.
And you ask "Where did my country go?"
Now imagine this. Pelosi running the House, Reid running the Senate and Billary walking into the White House on January 20, 2009. If this happens, then all I can say is "YOU HAVEN'T SEEN NOTHING YET!"
