I'm asking a favor from you
I don't know how many of you remember Burger King's "Whaler" but I would like to start a campaign to bring it back. It was their fish sandwich about as big or maybe a tiny bigger than their Whopper. I sure miss it.
I haven't seen any campaign work so far for getting gas prices down or other things, maybe we can get the Whaler back.
Burger King doesn't accept any emails - you have to write them.
Burger King Corporation
5505 Blue Lagoon Drive
Miami, Florida 33126
I know this is asking a lot but think about it - it'll really only take a few minutes to do this and wouldn't it be great if it worked! You could actually feel you made a difference in something nationwide.
Thanks in advance....
PS: Following is the letter I'm going to mail in;
To whom it may concern,
This is my request - please bring back the Whaler. It's one of the things I really miss from my youth and many of my friends (same age group) ALL agree it'd be a great thing for Burger King to do. I'm sure it'd be great for business too.
Thanks for taking this into consideration:

No, not the one they have now - the one they had in the 70's. It was called the Burger King Whaler. They used the same bun as the Whopper and the fish patty was huge.

Feeling nostalgic? I don’t even remember eating at a Burger King in the 70’s. Heck I don’t think we had a Burger King in the town I grew up in. We had a Fosters Freeze, a McDonalds, an A&W an Arby and a Jack and the Box. It was that good?

Was it that good? Well, to me it was a lot better than their present BK Fish & maybe some of it the nostalgic thing too.
Thanks.

Absolutely! A piece of true cod, a cup of flour (w/a bit of baking soda), half a bottle of beer (what to do with the rest?) and three cups of peanut oil at 360F.
Fast food is neither.
