    FortyFive - I am a cheapskate - if I can't bag a whitetail round here for my $20 hunting licence - that's it!!

P95 I had you in mind when I posted it, I thought you know guys P95 is not going to settle for any funny looking buck in PA with one antler glued on to make it legal, he would want to get out with the big dogs and nab a real large deer.

Haha!! But you didn't know I was such a cheapskate !! Anyways - Crazy Glue works wonders on busted antlers donchaknow

I am too old and crusty to go that sorta route, tho - given the timer and travel - could well contemplate a nice Elk or Moose up North. Just mosey around with my Ruger #1 in 45-70 - and BFR on board too - see some great scenery at very least!

Lady in Arizona complains because the Elk come in her yard and eat the flowers. Arizona is that state one over from California! Some guys from around here go for Elk in Arizona and I will tell them if they see a crusty old guy wandering around with a very large gun don't mess with him.

Girlfriend and I saw an elk today while cruising the farm fields. Not many around here , so at first I thought we found 1 huge buck. Thanks for the link.
