I purchased the DVD when I first heard about it a year ago.

"Obsession is a film about the threat of Radical Islam to the Western civilization. Using unique footage from Arab television, it reveals an 'insiders view' of the hatred the Radicals are teaching their incitement of global jihad, and their goal of world domination. The film also traces the parallels between the Nazi movement of World War2, the radicals of today, and the Western world's response to both threats."

This is a great DVD. IMO every red blooded American should see this. It really put in to prospective what we are really dealing with in the Middle East, and what you won't see in the New York Times. If you have the opportunity to see the film please do. I have been lending it out to all my friends and any one else that would like to see it.

Is the 'film' quality acceptable on the DVD? I watched Obsession last year on the net via a streaming server and the quality was horrible.

I too bought it when it first came out. Really powerfull video.

The quality is sorta a mixed bag. Some parts are good and some bad. Depending on the original source.

I watched it and found the movie trite and overblown. Should we keep an eye on them, yes. But after watching the movie i had the impression that the director wanted all of us to cower in fear.

It is a pretty well done movie.

To be honest though, after spending 9 months in 1991 in the persian Gulf and talking to many, many Muslim people, I can say that I do not think and every one who is Muslim is out to kill us. However, there are a whole bunch who are. And unfortunately, they have the ones who do not want to kill us cowed into not standing up and saying so.

Islam is not a religion of peace as it is now being practiced. it has been perverted and twisted into what it is now and we should all be aware that the "religions" primary focus to to convert everyone in the world to Islam. If you do not convert, they feel that God tells them to kill you.

It is a real threat to the entire world.

I watched it twice. Factual stuff. I reccommend it.
