    Todays duck hunt

Went duck hunting this morning. I downed 4 but was only able to recover 2 (the current was fairly strong). Left hand= bluebill; right hand= teal. Good times.

Duck hunting is my #1 hunt, plus they are so "tasty"

Sounds like a blast. Some of my fondest memories are duck hunting in Stuttgart AR with a buddy of mine. Duck hunting is probably only second behind quail hunting in my book!!

What you are calling bluegill, we call bluebill ...
and personally I dont like the way they taste.
Teal are good to eat though and an absolute hoot to shoot.

    Nice Pic.

AZ has a lot of water (rivers/lakes) so the hunting is good.

Nice. We went out first and 3rd weekends of Oct. (MI hunting) and did great . Dad and I got 5 the first weekend and 5 the second weekend. A mix of teal, mallards(the best eatin') and mergansers.
Seems steel shot doesn't seem to down em like lead used to. Bismuth and other is expensive to shoot. We lost 3-4 ducks due to poor performance of the bb's .
