I don't care if it is a Llama. That's just sick.

That gun needs a good sandblasting and so does whoever gave it the Krylon Touch.

    Thanks For Posting That Picture.
    I hope ya don't mind.
I just had to make that lovely pistol a permanent part of the forum "Gallery Of Photos" before that seller pulls the photo off & it's gone to the shooting fraternity forever.

I think it's north pole tactical. Some mean elf packs that thing.

Or maybe it's a clown assassin pistol.

Might see The Joker use this in Batman Begins II.

I don't think John Browning is turning over in his grave...Like Euc said it's just a Llama.

I would go unarmed before I would carry (or own) something that hideous. It would, however, make the bad guys die laughing I'm thinkin'.....

You know what, we sit here and make fun of this pistol, but there is something to be said for such a thing.

I mean look at it. How could even the most ignorant hoplophobe be afraid of something like this?

Imagine trying to ease someone into shooting or getting them to overcome their fear of inanimate objects. I know that for the most part this fear is voluntarily embraced, but there may be some people who have a genuine pathological fear of such things.

If nothing else, hiding in plain sight is something I think us gun owners need to learn and cultivate. If we would put blue or green furniture on those bad old AK-47 clones, AR 15s, and .50 caliber rifles, the movement to ban these things would be severely hampered. Most of the legislation we really hate has nothing to do with the actual capability of the firearm but rather its appearance.

Case in point, when Spyderco knives started developing knives for urban dwellers, one of the first things they did was get rid of that bad old black handle and make it cobalt blue. I have two such knives and they really fly under the radar.

I'm not talking about "tacticool" things like those horrible olive drab affairs either. The guns we know and love in simple, primary colors would look fine and could save us a lot of headache if we'd only let it.

Here's another thought -- it is so brightly colored that it looks like a toy. Literally, it looks like one of the plastic 1911 toy squirt guns or pellet pistols you can by in Toys R Us.
