Cleaning the Electronic Attic.
For a long while now, I have "collected" articles, posts and assorted stuff related to shooting and the Second Amendment. At the time it was nothing more than having it at my fingertips in case I needed to quote from the stuff or share some info on a board. Last week I decided it would be a great idea to have all uploaded in a website so people also could access it, but boy! I did not know how much stuff I had. It is easy to hoard info, it sucks to try to arrange it and make sense out of it..."OK, what the heck is 7374mbb.txt?...Open...Oh yeah! That's good."
Add to that the fact I am converting everything into PDF and I am getting literally dizzy with all the stuff.
Oh well, it is fun in a way and if it helps others, I'll be happy.
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

Sounds like a lot of work to maintain. I gave up on mine.

Oooh, if/when you get it in .pdf, I'd love to have a copy!
I do have the huge bookmark codex of doom, but extra never hurts!

Tell me about the work aspect Miggy!! It's daunting to say the least.
Nevertheless any and all info that is available ''out there'' is good as it can help disseminate the material to a wider audience. Keep at it and gradually it should come together but - it's slow. More power to your elbow.

The hard thing is to come up with a system of organization and put everything into it the first time. Maintaining an archive after that initial kick-off isn't too bad. My file-server had it bad a couple of years ago (on the order of 300GB of unsorted video, audio, pictures, documents, etc with non-descriptive names and in no particular order), but now it's easy to keep it under control. Good luck!
"A well-educated electorate, being necessary to the continuance of a free state, the right of the people to keep and read books shall not be infringed."
Is this hard to understand? Then why does it get unintelligible to some people when 5 little words are changed?

Good luck, I gave up years ago.
