    Yep, works great on any kind of bird, just make sure you adjust the amount of time for the size. I also buy brisket for smoking, or get a ham and put cloves in it prior to smoking hmmmmmmmmmmm. Deer meat will fall off the bone and ribs will to.

    Unless you like changing out the charcoal and manually maintaining the heat I'd recommend an electric smoker, and get one of those meat timers to stick in the meat, close the lid, set the timer for when you want to check it and watch football, go shooting, or just snooze.
