Does anyone know if this is true!?

Last week I went to Soulard Framers Market here in St. Louis. To my surprise they were selling a lot of coon. I never ate coon before but noticed that the skinned coons all had their paws on with fur. When I asked about that, the seller told me by law they had to keep their fur paws on so that the buyer would know its not a skinned cat. Is this true or were they just haveing a good laugh at this city boy.

I'll have to admit that uncles had me go on a snipe hunt. Then laugh at me for years.

You can say that again. If all they had was coon, I wouldn't waste my time.

I dunno about the law, but some of my family back home in southern Louisiana would make a gumbo with one of those coons if the price was right.

Ummm, why did they laugh at you? Are you a poor shot?

I personally plan to go snipe hunting now that I have my Saiga 12.
