    Yep, I would bet that some caveman killed another caveman for his pile of rocks or bones or something. Greed is a base emotion and one of the driving factors in humans.

    It has always been with us and will always be there.

    Killing to steal, or to gain revenge are pretty basic motivations. As someone who lives in the city that is home to the BTK murderer, and the Carr brothers, I think maybe we are becoming a more brutal society.

    It's strange,
    Standing over a grave, people will lament how petty the seven deadly sins are...
    Yet, several hours later it's back to 'business as usual'.
