Never smoked, chewed or dipped. Never even tried it.
In fact, I have never tried any tobacco or any illegal drug of any kind. I may be one of the few on the planet who can say that. I have been told that makes me a "Boy Scout" but, I was never a boy scout. Go figure.
Never used tobacco ever. I think anyone that wants to use tobacco should go to a farm and strip tobacco for a farmer for a couple hours. After you spend 30 minutes trying to get all the tar off of your hands, maybe it would enlighten you somewhat.
With that being said, I think there are too many laws that discriminate against smokers. It's certainly hurt my state's farming economy. :(
not a question i see as relevant in any fashon to the board so i politely decline to indicate lol .
Back in my early...early days, I did smoke a little...but I never inhaled!
I have been a smokeless tobacco user for 24 years. Some things are hard to let go of.
Cigars.......
I picked "kicked the habit" - its been two years. I used to smoke and dip, now I smoke an occasional cigar. Like once every few months or so.
Austin
Never smoked. Utterly ridiculous habit.
But then, some people would say overeating is the same, and I am a definitely a chunky monkey
Cigars and/or pipe?
I tried chew once in JR. High... nobody told me you werent supposed to swallow the juice... That made me never ever want to try it again.
My Dad smoked camels growing up... and waking up to that smell every morning made cigarettes not very attractive. The smell will tell you why they call them camels.
Started smoking when I enlisted. Two years later I realized how stupid the choice was as it was killing my endurance. Walked away and never looked back.
If you are looking for a correlation, try a poll that askes if the parents were smoking during the teen years. Most kids - for better or worse pick up habits that parents have during the late formative years.
I smoked for about 20 years, and I thank God I had the willpower to quit.
