The only present I ask my wife for is "permission". When she finds a gift on her own she does a pretty good job. But when she asks what I want and tries to get it she does a poor job. Usually finding something similar but cheaper and is not near what I want. That's why I ask for permission.

There isn't much I need in the way for firearm gifts although I asked my wife to take a NRA pistol class and she turned me down flat. She doesn't like guns. Oh well.

I honestly dont want anything. Christmas gifts are for the kids.

As adults, I've found that I never end up buying the correct gift for anyone, and they never give me want I want... so I say cut the crap and just go buy want we want on our own. It just saves a lot of hassle.

My wish list tho (which would be self achieved) is an AK pistol and M&P 9mm (and/or!).

I'll probably get all sensible tho and realize I need neither right now - at least until the piggy bank is more full.

I can understand your sentiment, Sixto, but I'm only 24, so I'm going to milk my parents for a few years more. Besides, my father's just gotten a rather good job, so is able to treat a little more.

What I would like for Christmas:

Gunsafe
Left handed Stag AR-15 upper
Benelli shotgun
.22 Suppressor
Electronic ear muffs
CT laser grips

But instead I've got to come up with non-shooting gifts within a set price range. I'd prefer to just get cards and have them show up for the holidays.

I'd like to promote a new gift giving philosophy (for adults). If I find a gift that I think someone would really like, I'm going to buy it for them, and give it as soon as I see them. I'm not going to buy them something just for the sake of having some half baked present for some holiday.\
