Seen some of these comparison pics in the past - they are nasty!!
I just wish anyone choosing to embark on meth useage would see such images - and also be aware of what happened behind some of those late stage cadaverous masks. Lives ruined - plus the lives of those affected around them.
It's a losers game - from the get go.
Educational & powerful! Amazing what kind of crash and burn drugs can produce.
It is amazing to see people go through this first hand... ArmyCops link is no BS- it really happens to just about everyone who trys it.
In addition to the physical changes, mental ability goes down the drain along with everything else. Money, family.... you name it, its gone.
We've got a decent amount of meth addicts where I live. Those posters are all over the place. Especially the Sheriff's Office. I presonally think they should put 'em in middle schools. Just my opinion, though.
Here, in central Kentucky, this stuff is out of hand.
1.) I can't buy a Sudafed for congestion without my name going on a government list.
2.) I have to have a background check to get my allergy medicine...every time I renew the prescription.
3.) I can't get proper care for chronic pain due to a broken back
All due to a bunch of miscreant idiots with nothing better to do than geek out. I say make meth legal and let all the dopeheads kill each other on it, leaving the people who can make intelligent choices about the future to lead normal lives without consequences based on OTHER people's mistakes.
I'm done with treating people who use meth as victims. They're not. They gave up and succumbed to this with conscious choice, and I've got no sympathy. Let them rot off their own bones.
You are right Scot. The victims are the public in general and the families.
+1 Sixtoes and Scot
I hate that crap.
I've seen some beautiful woman turn into hags...and it doesnt take very long.
They need to post pics of these meth addicts' crying neglected kids!
Do you guys remember those commercials in the 70's "it's 11:00pm do you know where your kids are?" It would be a great idea to show these meth pictures featured in some kind of commercial. Instead of those stupid anti-tobacco commercials...you could show how meth changes people. JMHO.
It cost the citizens a ton of money to lock them up and to replace their teeth to start with. I'll keep the rest to my self.
These posters are in 50% or more of my sons High School classrooms
Plus the effects of the cooking and production of Meth is harmfull. It's nasty and it's getting bad in my neck of the woods. i hate it.
In agreement with what others are saying, Meth is a huge problem for local governments. As our County Sheriff says, Madera County doesn't have a crime problem, we have a drug problem and 90%+ of that is Meth.
I work in the public policy arena of County GOvernment and one of the programs that is getting a lot of attention is the Montana Meth Project. Check out the "ads" section, especially the Television ads. You will see why this program is having a real affect on Montana's meth problem.
