I love the First 48. A real glimpse (though not totally realistic I know) inside the detective role.
As to confessing without an attorney, I think there's a corelation between being stupid enough to walk up to someone on the street, with witnesses present, and shooting and killing them. I'm always amazed at the ignorance of these animals, to say nothing about they're amoral nature. Something is seriously wrong with their mental development. Probably the primary reason I made a decision to carry concealed.

Pretty good show, but almost all the cases are about alike. Some they solve and some they dont. It seems that every now and then it is harder to figure out the name of the victim than it is to find the perp.
I've caught a few episodes and liked it, but don't tune in regularly. On A&E, I like INTERVENTION and the RIP show FAMILY PLOTS.
It's not about the caliber you carry, it's about how you USE it.

First 48 is my favorite show. Det. Mullins is good, but Sgt. Schillaci is a class act. Was sad to see him move from homicide.
wyo-man
He is over patrol now. I saw a very old episode of cops and he was on it. I think he is really a class act and someone the citizens of Miami can be proud of.
Great show!!!!
