    I am Legend Movie Review

The base was showing I Am Legend as a free sneak preview last night. Overall it was ok, I thought the ending was kind of lame. Bottom line: If I had paid $9.75 (current movie ticket price) I would've been disappointed.

    YMMV,

Now that's what I call a succinct review...

    Thanks, Mike!

I was very disappointed in the book, well I should say short story, the book is on sale, and it's a collection of stories. Imagine how I felt when I got to the last page of "I am Legend" only to find two thirds of the book left. I wasn't overly thrilled with the ending, judging from CT-Mike's review it probably plays along with the book. Most of the time the book is better, and this was one time I hoped the movie would end better than the book.

I'm looking forward to seeing it. I really enjoyed "The Omega Man" the first movie based on the book "I Am Legend".

Never read the book but remember the omega man with Charlton Heston.
Seems to me that Will Smith makes a pretty good actor for these types of movies. I hope he continues....

I googled the omega man and I came to find out that when the story was written that it was entitled I am Legend, first....

I'm thinking about catching it - tix prices around here are only $ 8.00.

    Useless trivia:
'I Am Legend' (or the original source material) was written by TWILIGHT ZONE sci-fi writer Richard Matheson.

I've never read the book, and the movie looked interesting. Will Smith does a nice job in just about any movie. I was going to wait until it came out of DVD though. Looks like that plan may be the way to go.

to explain the title "i am legend" would spoil the ending of the story.

"Omega Man" is one of my favorite cheesy 70's sci-fi movies. I'm interested to see how it compares to "I Am Legend"

$9.75 for a movie ticket. Now I know why I don't go to the movies. $9.75 X 2 + popcorn and pop. Probably $35 now.

Lol - same here. I just wait for stuff to come out on DVD and then run it at home on my dig projector and surround sound. Theaters are way over priced these days...then again so is just about everything else.
