SwiftyJuan's Gun Safe Conundrum
So over the weekend Swiftyjuan got some great news from his wife. She is buying him a new gun safe and best yet, he gets to pick it out. Well Swifty high-tailed it over to a local safe manuf. and picked it out. Monday, I think it was delivered and installed.
Tuesday I run into Swifty at work and he tells me of his frustration with the S&G Combo lock and how he has been unable to get the safe to open. Swifty went as far as to call the safe company and ask them to fax him the directions again.
Being the nice guy that I am I offered to go over to Swifty's and help him out after work. I watched Swifty attempt twice to open his own safe without success. So I tried using the same directions and Shazammmmm it opened.
I tell you this because for the last two days Swifty has been searching every nook and cranny of this Board just sure I would be posting to make fun of him. Today at work Swifty told me that he was surprised I hadn't posted about his difficulties. Of course my response was:
"Come on John, I wouldn't do that to you! I wouldn't want to out you in front of complete strangers!!!"
Being that Swifty is family around here I think I am still keeping my word.
Everyone give Swifty a round of applause.

The way I figure it, it's when i DON'T tease you that you have something to worry about.
Sorry, SwiftyJuan, the name may have to change...at least the first half.

I resemble that remark! Thanks for the advise QK, but BigE fell in love with my HK G3, and the Garand, as well as a few pistols, so I can't leave the safe open. He also fell in love with my parrot, but he has to fight the wife over that!
And Rhome, senior moments could happen when you get home and want some toys back!

My son's gun safe hates me... I have my own and no problems opening it, but his... I will try it multiple times and it will not open for me, then he waltzes up and it opens right up... #$%% thing, there has to be some trick to his.

I have one really old small safe and it's a real PITA.
You need to go past the first 4 times then back the other way past the second number three times then back the other way 2 times and then back the other way exactly to 100 and then to "0" and I goof it up sometimes.

Jeez, whatever happened to the ol' master lock - spin it a few times to the right and stop on 1st, go past 2nd and stop on it going left, then stop on the 3rd going right?
