    Ouch...I saw that happen once, someone didn't lock the legs on the stretcher correctly and it collapsed. In this case it was a DHB and not a living patient, but still not a good thing since there was still family there and saw it happen.

    I've seen an old style Ferno gurney collapse with a patient on it but never had one roll out of the back doors of my bus.

    It took some real clowns to pull that off. First they failed to lock the gurney mount and second, they left the back doors open. Blessedly they wern't on the freeway when it happened.
