X10 security cameras

I am telling you guys, I really cannot afford this site. Every time I read a post, I have to buy something.

I am going to install some additional home security measures. I know this idea has been discussed in the past so I won't ask what to do (plenty of advice out there), but I would like to know what you think of certain products.

I have read a lot of people talk about the X10 system. They have various levels of systems. The one that appeals to me the most is 18 piece system for $270.

The system and/or company has gotten a lot of good reviews. Who here has experience with it and what are your opinions?

I have two of there wireless color cameras, work great, very clear. The only thing is that they work on 2.4mhz, and my wireless router is also on 2.4mhz. When I switch between the two cameras, with the remote, it turns my router off.
