Hobbies.
Definitely hobbies.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
Motorcycles, guns, Blacksmithing, gardening, maille-making (yes, "chain-mail"), leatherworking, knife-making, armoring, martial arts, stick/sword fighting, powerlifting, canoeing, I cook, I sew, carpentry - over the years, I can't even remember all of them!
Stay safe,
Chuck Brick.
Why do I use 230 gr. for my .45acp?
Because I can't find a source of 250 gr!

"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

Zippo lighters. Probably have close to 30 or more by now.
I have them from different ports, ships, duty stations, and some that just I just found interesting or too cool to pass up.
I tend to collect everything I don't want, and none of what I do want. I am actually looking around the house right now deciding if I should push the wife to thin out the possessions or start thinking about building an addition to the house.
I am thinking the addition might be easier.![]()
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.
Knives and quality swords. My best sword is one 1934 pattern WWII Japanese Officer's katana with an older traditional folded blade. I've never had it looked at by an expert but have sent pictures of it to experts and they feel it's much older then WWII era. I've also got several modern reproduction 1050 carbon steel blades by Angus Trim, Del Tin. I've also got 2 Cold Steel non folded katanas. I also enjoy collecting goodies for my Yamaha Rhino Side by Side UTV.

I carry a Kimber Ultra Carry II in a Crossbreed SuperTuck. My wife carries a Walther PPS .40 w/Crossbreed holster.
Guitars (8)
Shot glasses (I pick one up every place I travel, probably about 40)
Blades (14 knives, 2 katanas including one WW2 Japanese officer's sword, I know nothing about it except that it's folded steel and was brought back by an American GI at the end of the war)
Computers (work related... but there's 12 of them scattered throughout my place)
I like the idea of zippos... and hell, motorcycles... big boy toys :) lol
Peace,
Pete Zaria.
I collect more than I have time, money, or good sense to do properly.
Antique books and coins are main focus. I also like to dabble in knives, and classic wristwatches. Gave up collectible cars when sons went off to college.
Sixto got in first ............
"JUNK" .......... I am the archetypal pack rat - not helped by being an engineer and so I even stoop so low as to pick up nuts and bolts I find lying around!
When I moved here in 2000, my ''stuff" <cough> arrived in a full size tractor trailer . including the one machine tool I had kept, a lathe. Trouble is - I keep adding and not taking away! It's a disease![]()
