Anyone know about Missouri Unemployment benefits?
I'm just wondering if anyone knows about Missouri Unemployment benefits. My sister works as a Paramedic and just got fired(scapegoated). Apparantly her boss had gotten complaints about her from the ER and Dispatch over decisions her boss had relayed to her in the first place. She's worried she wont get unemployment, and also doesn't know how it works in that state(she's from MI originally, like me). Thanks in advance folks.

The basic requirements for collecting unemployment are:
* You must be determined to be unemployed through no fault of your own as defined under Missouri law.
maybe tough to get
the employer decides if and who gets benefits, I think .

Thats how I initially read it for Michigan as well when I lost my job in November, and was questioned, turned out I was approved for benefits because though I was discharged for alleged misconduct, it had to be something that was meant to hurt the employer. Like if I were to intentionally break a machine or something, versus not getting along with a boss.
