I want to apologize
It seems like my last couple of threads were not appropriate. After reading some of the responses I realized just how much of a faux pas they were.
I want to apologize if anyone felt my actions were unworthy of this forum. I will try to think through the questions better.
Don't be too hard on yourself. I think we've all said (or typed) something we didn't mean to. Besides, the pepper spray story more than made up for it.
I feel your pain...made an error or two in my responses also...hey, move on and let it go...:yup:
Stay armed...stay safe!
Words are NOT like bullets...you CAN take them back!
Steve, it is something most folks do or have done at some time or another - many people would not bother to apologize either!
What is needed is a final appraisal of any material before posting - viewing it with regard to forum rules and also sometimes worth considering/imagining the direction a subject might take.
Not always easy - but it's probably a case of ''if in doubt - don't"
Steve, as said above, some of us have put foot in mouth on more than one occasion, without meaning to. All that usually happens is three Mods show up dressed in black, wearing hoods and spray paint your cat. It was nice of you to apologize though; I will try to do more often!
Whew. I thought they were going to show up with pepper spray and a shower door. :gah:

Well I don't know what ya did, but I forgive you. One thing I have learned though is to never go target pepper spraying with you.
No problems from me.
One of the tough things to be mindful of regarding chat rooms, email, forums, etc is that one's communication can be misunderstood/misinterpreted. With a normal voice conversation we use facial expression, gestures, word inflections, pauses, volume, etc. to express our story.........quite a bit different in typing out stuff and sometimes discussion is hampered because of it.
