Oh shut up... it did not break 9 degrees for over a week here, and that was the high in American degrees Fahrenheit. N as for the snow in the UP looks like business as usual.

I wish I had taken a photo of it, but years ago a friend invited me to ski a weekend at Mammoth Mountain. He owned a two-story home off the main drag. It had snowed so much the prior couple of weeks that the only way to enter the place was via the 2nd story balcony. Something like this, but about three times deeper: click.

Standing on top of a station wagon, I still could not see over the pile of snow in the front yard. It took serious hardware to carve parking spots in front of the homes. Folks were charging a fortune to do that, but you could easily believe the prices once you saw how much snow had to been removed.

Imagine a block of packed snow 18ft deep x 10ft wide x 15 ft high. It was funny to watch the large snow-blowing machines cruise by. You'd see only the blowing column of snow, but not the truck. It looked like Newfoundland after a 100yr storm.

    Ahhh. Those were the days.

I had to go and open my big friggin' mouth. Flag ain't fibbin'. It's snowing here. Not too bad, but bad enough that roads are too slick for my car. I saw about a dozen plows - none of which were actually doing anything.

I had to go get the backhoe to plow the road to my house this morning. The parking lot pic is at Safeway, they were hauling it off in sidedumps and a loader

Geez, what I would give for a 60 degree day!! It would melt off a bunch of this #!@#%$ snow!!
Oh well, when I have to drive to the valley (Phoenix) this summer in the 120 degree heat, I'll be wishin' for snow

I hear ya Sixto. We're supposed to hit 70 or so here in the next few days and they it's going back down to 30. Bringing some twisters with it.
