Neat Little Pic Found On The Web

Attention Folks...Think this pic has already been posted before by P95Carry. Since it already has a comment I'll leave it posted. But, all credit given to P95Carry for stealing the photo off the web before I had a chance to steal it.

A North American Arms .22 mini revolver compared to the new 500 S&W Mag cartridge.

    Good picture

A friend of mine has the S&W 500, and I swear you could use the empty brass for a shot glass.

What a lil' cutie. it makes my NAA Mini Magnum look big.

Now, how about an NAA Mini chambered in 500 S&W?

    Yeah baby....a 500 mag version....

Then you would have a matching tatoo imprinted in your forehead when you shot it the first and last time...

Haha - well QK maybe I did post it before which'd mean (for once) maybe I got to a pic before you LOL

My mini is the 1 5/8" barrel - tho a tad longer I think it makes better use of the .22 mag ammo. Mine lives in vest pocket - and gradually is making an external wear mark - which I must watch as it may wear thru!

    ROFL!

I too have a .22 Mag NAA mini. It is a very well made little piece.

On a side note, my grandmother has a two shot derringer with the flip open barrel chambered in .38 special and .357 mag She still has the box it came in and everything. I got the name off of it a few years back (eludes me now) but I couldn't find it in any of gun books that dad had laying around.

Considering she is this tiny little woman, and the length of the barrel (or more accurately, lack thereof) I would imagine it would be nearly as dangerous to stand behind her if she fired it as it would in front.

I have only gotten to look at it a time or two and that has been a while, but it clearly has .38 and .357 stamped on it. My father claimed that he put a .357 round in it once and could see the tip of the bullet from the buisness end of the barrel (still broken open of course). I know I wouldn't want to try hanging on to it. LOL

I have heard rumors of some chambered in 4/10 rounds but have not looked it up to see if it is true or not.

GS - I forget the make but one guy at the club has a double O/U that takes 410's - including the 3". It is fairly substantial as those things go but quite wicked to shoot!! I guess barrels are about 3 1/2 "!

Saw a guy shoot a 44 mag derringer once - he put it up for sale immediately after.

    Talking

"For sale: 1 .44 magnum derringer and 49 rounds of ammo . . ." call 555-5555 and ask for "Stumpy"."

Seriously, I have an old ADC lightweight (aluminum-framed) .45 ACP. I regularly fire 300-320 grain hunting loads from a .44 magnum revolver, and it's quite mild by comparison (recoil-wise). That light frame and miniscule grip turn reg'lar ol' hardball into a roaring beast! I don't wanna try a .44 magnum in a pocket pistol.
