    Great fishing yesterday!

    Went out fishing yesterday at sunrise and it turned out to be a pretty great day! Caught a mess of Reds and a couple of Trout. I caught these off the Texas Gulf Coast along the Lower Laguna Madre.

    The only downside was the cold and rain (hence the camo rain gear).

    You killer...I'm gonna report you to the "Natural Resoursed Defense League" for taking another innocent creature's life. It would have lived forever except for what you did!

    David in FL;

    I've been thinking about using a Fly Rod. Actually I use TFO (Conventional spinning) rods and they're products are mainly Fly Rods. I might order a couple and try it out.

    Good on ya!

    I hate to admit it, but I can barely remember the last time I even had a spinning rod in my hand. Careful though, flyfishing is addictive (and it gets pricey in a hurry if you let it!)

    David in Fl;

    Yeah I've heard that about Fly-fishing getting expensive quick! For the most part the majority of fishermen down here using Spinning Combos, there are only a hand full of guides that offer Fly fishing in the flats.
