Casing my house?
We just got fresh snow last night. Today I went out to the store and I just got home, and noticed two sets of footprints all the way around my house. If it was just one set, I wouldn't have thought anything of it. It's around the time of month the electric company reads the meter. But he usually stops in the road and walks straight in and out, he doesn't walk the entire perimeter of the house. Plus, the footprints didn't stop at the utility access area.
With the recent history of my doorbell ringing at 1am and banging outside near the garage after midnight, I'm even more suspicious.

You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

Thanks, that's what I'm thinking. I was just worried I was being paranoid because of recent history.

You're not being paranoid. Trust your instincts! Keep your eyes & ears open, God bless!

Call the electric company and see if there was a trainee on the rounds or something. If they ask why, I probably wouldn't say anything about footprints. I'd say I saw two people near the house and wanted to know who they were.

Yup.
Could be kids, but you can't just dismiss it.
Liberty is an inherently offensive lifestyle. Living in a free society guarantees that each one of us will see our most cherished principles and beliefs questioned and in some cases mocked. It's worth it.

Most victims don't pay attention to warnings. Pay attention to the warning and the feeling in your gut. We have instincts to help keep us safe, use them. Call the local police so they can keep an eye on your area. They may be able to catch who ever it is before any serious harm is done. I have a similar situation going on now with my stepson. We go to court on Thursday and if things go the way they should he'll be moving to the local jail. He used my credit cards and check card fraudulently and wiped out my bank account before we could stop him. Since I filed police reports in November, my truck has been vandalized and our TV cable and telephone line was cut. The locals have reports on this as well.
