    I marked 'burbs.

Atlantic Ocean a couple of blocks away on my 6.
Indian River Lagoon to my front.
Rockets 'white' glare to my north.
Cuba (way down south) on the other side.

Not too bad at all, except when they start talking 14' storm surge
when we are at 15' elevation.

I marked country, but we know it as county here. Acreage, mountains, ocean, sky. But I can see the neighbors.

I live about 20mi from downtown Des Moines, and 10 miles from one of its suburbs. We have 4 acres in a small 14 house development in the middle of farm fields and timber.....

I live in Nashville, but not in the heart of it, but I said city anyway. I grew up in the suburbs and have lived in the country.

I loved the country the best. My parents still live there. We have our own firing range and I can take my 4x4 over the hills. It's quiet and the neighbors are good people. Nobody freaks out when you walk around with a gun (I've stood on the side of the road with my AR and a Trooper drove by and waved).

You see nothing but the hills in the daytime and the stars at night.

I live inside a city, although it is a small city. There is only about 90,000 people in the county of about 925 square miles, and right beside a county that has about 40,000 people with 635 square miles. Kind of a nice mix in my book. It doesn't take very long to get away from folks.

I chose suburbs for the poll, but I live in West Valley City, the second largest city in Utah with approx. population of 118,000 people. I'm on the west side of the city, mostly just homes around me. (Although there's a big WalMart and a large cluster of stores and restaurants a mile or two to the east).
