Best Quotes.
One of the reasons I love this site is the quotes on the bottom of your avitars. My favorite is Janqs. I've read so many good ones I can't remember them all. I nearly wet my pants when I read "Why do I carry a Gun? Because I can't carry a Cop". What are your favs.?

Reason: grammer
"I don't know who invented Yoga and I don't know who invented pants. But I do know that I'd like to shake the hand of the man who put those two ideas together."

One of my favorite ones (and it's in my signature) came from one of my instructors... He was talking about gunshot wounds and injuries and shooting through the pain.
His general advice was that if you are alert enough to realize that you have been wounded you'll probably still be alive when help comes and it's up to you to keep fighting until backup can get there.
Then he said the phrase that has stuck with me ever since.
"Your life should mean so much to you that you will fight for as long as it takes, no matter what the pain, to make sure you keep it. Even death is a poor excuse for not fighting back."
It was an inspiration.

"The only honorable response to violence is counter violence. To surrender to extortion is a greater sin than extortion, in that it breeds and feeds the very act it seeks to avoid." Jeff Cooper in his book,"To Ride, Shoot Straight, and Speak the Truth."
"It does not take a majority to prevail,,,,,,but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." Samuel Adams

I've alway liked this one from Voltaire: "It is said that God is not on the side of the heaviest battalions, but of the best shots."

Your life is the only one you've got. Treat it that way.
Your best weapon is your brain. Don't leave home without it.
Thoughts: Justifiable self defense.
Explain: How does
disarming victims
reduce the number of victims?
Reason over Force: The Gun is Civilization (Marko Kloos).

Here's a few of my favorites.
I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man nor ask another man to live for mine.
Be courteous to all, but intimate with few; and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence.

Galt's always a good one. It's on the flipside of the coin that describes the "Golden" rule.

Psalm 144:1-3 Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.
Nehemiah 4:17 They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon.

There's some good left in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for!
Author's pretty obvious, I think...
Oh, and my sig is from a blog entry some time back. Can't recall the name of the blog right now.
Liberty is an inherently offensive lifestyle. Living in a free society guarantees that each one of us will see our most cherished principles and beliefs questioned and in some cases mocked. It's worth it.
