Support Move to Deny Berkeley Our Tax Dollars

As you probably know, Berkeley has done it again! Remember the post 9/11 debacle when they prohibited Fire trucks from flying the American flag? Now they have decided to harass the Marines out of the city. Here are some representative quotes from the city council members in meeting:

“Marines are the President’s own gangsters… they are trained killers” and that the "Marines are known for “death and destruction…and maiming” and give America “horrible karma.”

Did you see the video clips of the city council meeting? How about the video of Code Pink out of control forcing a physical confrontation?

Go to this link to see more of the story, videos and a petition to the City of Berkeley.
    Move America Forward

And, go to Senator Jim DeMint's site to voice support for his proposal to withdraw Federal funding for Berkeley:
United States Senator - Jim DeMint

and your US Senators' sites to support his proposed legislation to pull federal funding from that despicable excuse for a city.

Yes, I know it is disgusting and sickening, but don't turn away, the miscreants are ready to backpedal but don't give them relief, give them a dose of good ole "fed up to here with you!". A firestorm of outrage is needed to purge the disease festering in that place.

I just read an article this morning. It seems as though the Berkley mayor and some of the council are having second thoughts......and maybe it wasn't a good idea to try and kick the Marines out.

Sadly it's not a patriotic decision for them, they found out that there was an attempt to withhold $2.3 million in federal funds to the City of Berkley.

I can't really say anymore, I'd get kicked off the forum.
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

Even if they allow the Marines back in, federal funding should still be withheld for a minimum of one year. That 2.3 million should be used to set-up a state of the art recruiting facility somewhere inside city limits.

Take the Marines and the money out of the city and let it rot around their ears. In fact take the military out of both Berkley and San Fransisco and watch what happens.

I can't stand anything about California. The state itself is beautiful. All the idiots, hippies and tree huggers out there need to go fishing in a leaking boat.

I fight to defend their rights, so they can maintain a lifestyle that insults my existence.

    Burn Berkley to the ground.

I might be off base here but seems to me that besides taking their money away. A lot of "code pink" the mayor and others should be facing not only some big fines but jail time as well.

    TITLE 18--CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

    PART I--CRIMES

CHAPTER 115--TREASON, SEDITION, AND SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES

Sec. 2388. Activities affecting armed forces during war

    (a) Whoever, when the United States is at war, willfully makes or
conveys false reports or false statements with intent to interfere with
the operation or success of the military or naval forces of the United
States or to promote the success of its enemies; or
Whoever, when the United States is at war, willfully causes or
attempts to cause insubordination, disloyalty, mutiny, or refusal of
duty, in the military or naval forces of the United States, or willfully
obstructs the recruiting or enlistment service of the United States, to
the injury of the service or the United States, or attempts to do so--
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty
    years, or both.

    (b) If two or more persons conspire to violate subsection (a) of
this section and one or more such persons do any act to effect the
object of the conspiracy, each of the parties to such conspiracy shall
be punished as provided in said subsection (a).
    (c) Whoever harbors or conceals any person who he knows, or has
reasonable grounds to believe or suspect, has committed, or is about to
commit, an offense under this section, shall be fined under this title
or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.
    (d) This section shall apply within the admiralty and maritime
jurisdiction of the United States, and on the high seas, as well as
    within the United States.
A war does not have to be declared, it can be acquiesced to by Congress or in other words a war is a war ......

Of course I am not a lawyer maybe just over reacting and be completely off base ..... wouldn't be the 1st time

Hard to believe they have Arnold for a governor! The only reason they changed their minds was the threat of losing federal fundings. They need to learn the consequences of their actions and lose the funding. No mulligans or do-overs in life for the rest of us, why should they get special treatment.

The worse thing is that all these Californians are flocking to Texas and trying to turn this place into the new California. But don't fear, we won't let them!

    God Bless Texas! M2
