In the interests of not hijacking another thread in this forum, I'll do this here. The lawyers thread made me think of it, and I thought about adding it to the Police Harassment thread, but this is really the perfect place.

This lady was driving her car really fast and got pulled over by a Highway Patrolman. He walked up to her window and said, "Do you know why I pulled you over?" She says, "I bet you want to sell me some tickets!" The cop says, "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not selling tickets, pulled you over for speeding!" She persists though, "Come on officer, couldn't you sell me even just two tickets? I want to go to the Highway Patrolmen's Ball!" He says, "Highway Patrolmen don't have balls!"

...and that's how she got out of the ticket.

I'm going to jack this thread as soon as it gets really good.

Sixto, you don't have to wait for it to get good. Possibly your hijack will make it good and then somebody else can hijack it...something to think about.

    Post Poll!

Look fellas, it wasn't Mary Ann, Ginger, or Mrs. Powell that was hot.

    It was Ayn Rand.

    She's so hot, she smokes.

Get it straight. Or I'll call in the GM's.

Ramrod, you should send the pic to the GM's...That is much more convincing than the usual "Back to topic" comment.

I'm sure they'll find it soon enough. I've got more for those with a sense of humor. I think it would soften the blow of closing threads, and then the mods wouldn't have to to alot of explaining either. Here's just a few samples:

I'm going to do the unthinkable here and return to the original topic of this thread, if only briefly.

Sounds crazy, right? Bear with me.

We get a big chuckle every time a member starts a thread with something like "Mods, feel free to move this thread if it's in the wrong place" or "Mods, you can delete this if it's not appropriate", or some such.

Hey... Can we move this thread? Daily? I think it's an ideal candidate for the first DC Nomadic Thread. Half the fun will be trying to find it everyday.
The facts are indisputable. There is more data supporting the benefits of Conceal Carry than there is supporting global warming. If you choose ignorance, in light of all the evidence, in order to bolster your irrational fear of guns, you are a greater threat to society than any gun owner.
