BOSTON (AP) - A man accused of trying to pay a gang member $2,000 to kill his estranged wife, mother-in-law and 9-year-old daughter was expected to plead guilty to a murder-for-hire charge Wednesday.
A change-of-plea hearing was scheduled for John Orlowski in U.S. District Court. Orlowski, 49, was charged in May after the plot was uncovered when the mother of the gang member called the FBI.
The gang member, a self-described member of the Crips who has a lengthy criminal record, was troubled by the plan, especially the thought of killing a child, so he told his mother, according to an affidavit filed by an FBI agent.
See remainder of the story here:
The gang member had more scruples about killing the child than her own father did. This, somehow, strikes me as especially despicable on the father's part: "Orlowski said he wanted his wife and mother-in-law each shot twice in the head, but asked that his daughter be shot once in the chest so she could have an open casket at her funeral." UN-BE-LIEVABLE!
What a world we live in!!!

I just can not understand how anyone could want to bring harm to any child, much less their own. What is wrong with these people?
