He bought a knife of yours?
How did you ship it? Insured? ~
with Delivery Confirmation.
If it was shipped insured & they delivered to the wrong zip code then you're covered.
By the way if it was delivered to the wrong address & the person that it got sent to (in error) decided to keep it instead of returning the package then that is a crime. It's mail theft.

Justin - slight confusion here.
You sold the knife but are you actually describing the wrong delivery of your money order/cashiers check? That is how I interpret so far. It certainly sux bigtime.
Need to establish who screwed up on the zip - and yeah, the wrong person receiving this has to declare it and return it to PO.

They found it, the guy that bought the knife from me called the PO in Pitt and the company that got my envelope is returning it to the sender *wipes forehead*

Very BIG - PHEW!!!! Pleased for you.
I am out currently $1,750 from a deal that went sour - long story which if I do not get funds back will be made public.
That amount hurts - believe me!!

Post office looses things all the time. At present I have over $4,000.00 in checks lost in the mail, this over the last 20+ years. They were to pay various bills, put them in the box and it is though they fell through a black hole never to be seen again. Some times I wonder if my mail person just threw them away not wanting to have stuff to take back (RR customer).
