Pro2A...it brings a smile to my face to read your signature after I read the article....
If the government can't trust us with our guns, why should we trust them with theirs?
    That's just funny.

That was always one of the biggest fears when I was in the Air Force and we would go to the field to play war with M-16s. We all knew that if one came up missing we would be locked down for a very long time. I saw units on Fort Bragg go through that and in the military when a MG comes up missing you have no rights and until it's found everyone is guilty.

I remember reading about this....pretty funny. The best part is they'll probably never find it. Just goes to show you can't control inanimate objects when they are not in your possession. Amazing concept!

I bet it is in a range bag from the last training mission. Or someone took it home for the weekend and is now afraid to bring it back.

I'm guessing they have paperwork or something - sign the gun out, sign it back in. All somebody has to do is forget to sign it back in, and then not have it when they ask him about it. What are they going to do, search his house? It won't be there. Search everyone's house that lives nearby, and also all his friends and relatives? Hmm....I really don't think that gun is going to turn up. It might have been a good idea to just skip the press release on this one.
