We finally got some snow worth mentioning here just to the north of you in KY. There is about 8" on the ground now, with about 12-15" projected after its all said and done.

Around 5" and still coming in my part of Lexington. Main roads look okay so far. Must be the Global Climate Change.

The weather folks say we got 9" here in B-burg. I was in town this morning in the Suburban-no problems although most roads are not plowed.

The county declared a state of emergency an hour or two ago.

I'm working up loads for my new Browning Hi Power in .40 S&W. I'll likely test run some rounds in the pasture this afternoon. I'll find the brass when the snow melts.

The wood stove is cookin' and the Airedales are sacked out all around the house.

Me too! Its a white out now, I just got done with the driveway, I'm not sure why I even shoveled it.
I did go for a drive... it really isnt that bad out. I made it every where I wanted to without 4x4.

My work sent me home early at 3 PM yesterday - an "adult' snow day!

Snow is pretty to look at & camp in, but I dislike driving in it.

    Everybody stay safe & warm!

Im not sure where you are, but its all level 2 and 3 snow emergancy, people gettin stuck everywhere.

Of course, being a vet of Ohio snowfalls, IMO one should be used to it, and I dont find it so bad. but people 'round here have amnesia bigtime. There are 4 cars stuck in my parking lot as I type this. All they had to do was clear some snow behind them...

I cant get my truck out, im parked in a corner and somone behind me is stuck half way into a parking spot.

I dont mind driving in snow, its other people around me I don't like.

Wifey got sent home too, and her office doesn't shut down very often, its a docs office. I think everywhere in town shut down early yesterday, and all of today. I can step outside my apartment and its eerily quite.

got about 5" here in South Central KY...had to cancel the 6yr b-day party for my boy since the grand parents live in Dry Ridge and the aunt lives in Florence.

Oh well, had a good day of sledding anyway.

    Be safe, all....

I feel sorry for my neighbor... they had planned on flying out on vacation this weekend. Guess where they are... Home. They didnt have food in the house or anything because they planned on being gone.
I drove up to Kroger and got some stuff for them.
It was an eye opener for sure, there has no fresh food at all on the shelf. Frozen stuff was pretty well picked over too. And its only been a day. Kinda scary.
