I have been there many times and have never seen a 30.06 sign. I think the reason is that the requirements make the sign to large and most businesses don't like them.

The Alamo would sure be an intersting place to tell Texans that they can't have guns...

Last time I was there, there were no 30.06 signs anywhere on the Alamo grounds.

there aren't any; I recently took some soon-to-be relatives there over the christmas holidays and carried everywhere down there, both inside and out of the Alamo grounds and the shops surrounding.....

In fact, I can't think of any in downtown San Antonio, right off hand. There are some 51% signs, but those are easy to figure out.

Umm... Isn't the Alamo a Federal Park? No need to post, like the post office, CCW prohibited.

Although it was named a National Landmark, the Alamo is owned by the State of Texas and run by he Daughters of the Republic of Texas.

Pat O'Brien's across the street from the Alamo has a 51% sign posted on a wall behind each entrance....rather hard to see when you walk in. I didn't see it until halfway finished with a Hurricane - the wife called my attention to it over and behind my head.

    Umm...No.

    Umm...No again.

Posting is required... And I haven't seen a US post office in Texas that ever had a sign on its front door.

See para H of the US Code
US CODE: Title 18,930. Possession of firearms and dangerous weapons in Federal facilities
