    Unhappy Sad News

I just learned that Arthur C. Clarke passed away. One of my all time favorite authors. I first read "Against the Fall of Night" and I've read just about everything I could of his after that. I'm gonna get the entire Rama series out of my book case and start on it again.

One of my favorite authors. I will have to go back and read all his stuff again. My personal favorite is Childhood's End.

We owe him big time: in addition to his excellent writing, he thought up geosynchronous satellites.
