    Look what I caught today!!!

I was out shooting my USP. And there's a brick pile that I pick bricks out of and shoot at. But I had the bright Idea to look the bricks over before picking them up since there's spiders in the. I turned a few bricks over and there was A BLACK WIDOW SPIDER under it. I was poking at it with the frams form an old mirror that I shot down there and it turned over and I saw the "hourglass" on its stomach. So I called my mom since she's a science/biology freak and I took it to her house. It's awesome. ere's a pic of it in the bottle I caught it in. Notice the orange hourglass on the belly. Nobody around here has seen one before so this is awesome!!

This seems to be a good year for them. A guy over on the SIG Forum posted a picture of one he found last week.

There are five species of widow spiders in North America. They range from Mass. to Florida, west to California, and across southern Canada. PA is well within the range for some species of Black Widow.

We are going down tomorrow to find more. The entamologist (spelling) at the college offered me 100rds of 45acp for every spider lol.

Justin my parents live in Virginia, give me 48 hours and I can get some mailed to you. All you have to do is split the ammo 50/50.

Justin, if you need any more of them as "specimens" let me know. I can get you all you want. Arizona has quit a few and they love my shed and storage room. I don't capture them, I step on them, but they are pretty cool looking spiders. Luckily I have never seen one in the house. Now scorpians are a different thing......

And I had a black widow as of today but donated her to the college since there aren't many aroun dhere. But, we are going to look for them tomorrow. Don't worry though, I won't forget to mention you guys when I have my own version of "The Crocadile Hunter"

Someone say crocodile??? Got this today in email ........
Now this is a Crocodile !

This crocodile was found in New Orleans swimming down the street. 21 FT long, 4,500 lbs, around 80
    years old minimum.

Specialists said that he was looking to eat humans because he was too old to
catch animals. This crocodile was killed by the army last Sunday at 3:00 pm, currently he is in
the freezer at the Azur hotel. The contents of it's stomach will be analyzed
    this Friday at 2:30pm

    4500lbs????

    I call bull feces!

Only seen two Black Widows up here- one was making a web between a customer's door and his sneakers out on the porch. Didn't even get the willies(unlike the tarantula that I was told aren't up here ); actually began to wonder if it was ticklish on the red spot.

Other was in Gary Reeder's gun case(custom revolver). Had a couple engraved and gold filled spiders on the frame and barrel. Told him a couple times that I felt the urge to smack it with me shoe...
