You have it cheap right now. I am paying $2.79 but things look to be going up. On a side note...

I saw a study from a university... can't remember which one... that said oil would have to be $95 a barrel in order for gas prices to be $3.00 a gallon. We are getting fleeced! Also, what's up with Exxon posting $10 BILLION! in PROFITS! last QUARTER! They should be named eXXXon. That's the most obsene thing I have run across lately.

I hate getting screwed and not being able to change it.

I for one am doing all I can to cut back on gas. I am working from home when I can, driving under 60 mph on the highway, avoiding fast starts and stops, and generally being a grandma (no offense Mom... you a great Grandma) behind the wheel.

I saw Bill O'riely (sp) on his show the other day call for a ban on buying gasoline this Sunday to help send a message to the oil companies. I for one am going to boycott the gas station this Sunday.
There are 2 sounds in the world that strike more fear than any others. A click when you should hear a bang and a bang when you should hear a click.

I haven't checked today but I think it's around the $2.55 region - but that won't be for long tho as we know!!!

The big excuse is ''supply & demand'' - meaning because there is less coming out to the pumps, they'll effectively try to ''price folks out'' from buying! That to me poses a question - WHERE do the extra profits go??

I have saved quite a bit of gas by biking but that won't last as fall progresses - I do tho find I now hit brakes less, slowing on engine braking and also not accelerating as hard - but even that only ups my figures by one or two MPG's.

Hang on to your wallets folks - next coupla weeks will be another bumpy ride.

I'm getting screwed. In the north dirty jersey area where I'm currently working it's 2.83, and I'm sure my parents house in w.c. pa is somewhere a touch north of that.

I paid 2.73 yesterday here in NW Miami, but I have seen from 2.89 to 2.99 in certain stations.

Would you believe $2.95 is the cheapest I can find in my Maryland neighborhood? I was down to the Southern end of Maryland today the cheapest gas I saw was $2.79. I live about half way between Washington and Baltimore.

Nashville: $2.71-2.78 was the average, and I saw 2.87 at one.

$2.86-2.92 for the low grade... $3.15 for the high-end stuff my wife has to use. Lucky me, diesel is still only about $2.88.
