You look and most boards are like that youll have 1000 members and if your lucky 60 will post in one month but 30-40 will post more than 1 time

Pretty much par for the course Bruce. Strikes me many folks sign up on a whim - and then forget!! Then those who do remember get involved elsewhere and just drop by now and again.

Usually there is a solid core of folks who try and visit daily - but as you see, in percentage terms - it's pretty small.

I try to stop by a few times a day while I'm surfing the web for the infamous 1911's.

I notice not many women post on here either. I know there got to be lots of women who carry. Seems they are not intrested in the banter and technical aspects or what? I see lots of women posting on other shooting forums.

My old lady carries. She likes guns. Her first response when I told her I'd bought a Thompson was whether it came with a drum or not.

She doesn't really have any interest in the nuts and bolts of things, though. Nomenclature, etc. don't hold any interest, and she's ambivalent about the 1911, which is almost an anathema of a perspective on any gun forum.

She likes guns, she shoots guns, she owns a few here and there, and carries religiously. Other than that, I'd wager to her it'd be like being on a toaster forum.

I noticed by always looking at the Active Members list that a lot of various people just tune in here sporadically to read and don't ever comment.
    That's OK too.
We have a lot of "quiet types" that just click over here to read, learn, & stay on top of things "concealed carry" related. :unitedsta

I don't yap as much as some other members here. Posters like QK and P95 make up for the rest of us.

I mostly lurk about and make sure nobody gets out of line so I don't have to

    Bruce,

I try to check in a couple of times a day, and I'm usually good for a comment here or there, but I'm here more to read and learn.
