That could come in handy as a last resort weapon. Here is a video of one.

Very old story.
Do a Google search and you'll see this has been going around for ~5 years or more.
Yes, they really do exist, but are rarely seen (luckily).
I'm sure it's been posted here on DC a few times in the past as well.
The vidio was interesting, but wouldn't want one. I did do a search (both Google and DC) and didn't come up with anything. Thanks for the replies, guess I owe my buddy a beer.
I like it but what do you use a cell phone gun for? Assassinations or deep concealment?![]()
I'd buy one if I saw it at the store :)
You are not likely to see this in a store any time soon. Lacking a distinct pistol grip, this would qualify as an "AOW", and so would not be transferrable over the counter.

Battle Plan (n) - a list of things that aren't going to happen if you are attacked.
Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.
Does it go off if you dial 911?

Looks like something from a James Bond movie, not for me.

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day.
Any hand gun carried in Minnesota MUST look like a gun. I'm betting many states have that same requirement in their laws some place. Still, kinda kool. (what can I say. I grew up in the 60s)
I carry to protect myself and my loved ones from the BG's. Not to solve societies problems. That said: if more carried the deterrent would only have a positive overall effect on those problems.
Hmmm...a firearm disguised as a device that's meant to be held AT YOUR OWN HEAD.
Bad idea.

Who builds these thing if there is no way of selling them legally.
They are legal to sell, just more paperwork than a typical gun. $5 tax (I think, could be wrong) plus ATF approval and the paperwork that accompanies it.
I'd like to give one of those to every idiot yammering on their cell phones while driving.
