    Pepper gurus - advise please!

I am not experienced with peppers so some input would be most useful.

We were given five or six plants some time back - they have grown pretty well and are still flowering. Most are laden with good peppers - the long green variety (approx 5" long) - at least they are still green right now.

Last night's rain put two plants down and one partly over tho they'll still survive a bit longer as roots seem not too disturbed.

It will not be long anyways before frost stops everything and so - what is best to do to store these?? Any advice on picking, and ways to keep them would be great. Should they be dried somehow? Or should they be canned?

    Help this pepper novice out!
