    Gratitude Campaign

I received this in an email this morning, and wanted to pass it on. It's a great message.

I don't know how old this is, or if everyone has already seen it, but I did a search and couldn't find any threads on it.

I have seen this a couple of time. I showed it to my daughter (who signs) and she says the gestures are wrong. I love the video but I wish they would have done the proper hand signs. It the thought that counts.

You're right, I didn't even realize it wasn't the correct "Thank You" sign. But this sign looks like it comes from the heart. Literally.

It's still the thought that counts. And it's a great thought.

Great reminder...it IS about service and sacrifice.

On several occasions I have picked up the tab for a soldier eating in a restaurant...I love doing that...never expected, always appreciated!

    God bless our soldiers...

Maybe someone should remember to tell us service members about such things. I just thought all those people were sneezing (I'm kidding, I'm kidding, settle down). It is well intentioned and that is what counts.

I have been the recipient of several acts of random kindness due to being in the military, and they are very appreciated. It's interesting to note how such events usually occurr with more often far from bases, like when I go back to Ohio. Shows of support and gratitude mean a lot, even if it can make the service member feel slightly awkward at times.
