Eric Pollard and Marcus Dillard had a long-standing feud and they almost came to blows outside an apartment party.
Pollard, police say, settled their beef with a bullet.
Three days after police say Pollard, 22, fatally shot his enemy, the suspected killer surrendered at Miami-Dade police headquarters.
The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office had already issued an arrest warrant for first-degree murder.
Pollard was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Tuesday afternoon.
Detectives believe the two had been feuding for unknown reasons and ran into each other outside a party at the Corinthian apartments, 7705 NW 22nd Ave., Saturday about 12:45 a.m.
Witnesses identified Pollard as the shooter.
