Amazing, absolutely amazing. Hopefully the kids voice doesn't go to crap as he goes through puberty. Reminds me of Paul Potts.

My Wife and I thought the very same thing.

He had best record a CD like Right Now!

Prediction: He will be a millionaire by the end of this year.

His voice is like an angel is hiding inside his body.

I went to school with a boy like this. He was just INCREDIBLE.

Luckily for him, though his voice DID get deeper around the time of puberty he was well trained enough that he went on singing baritone instead of falsetto.

He still has a FABULOUS voice.

The most difficult time for him was WHILE he was going through the change. Sometimes he could sing like he did before, sometimes it was just too hard. He really did sing his heart out though.

    This kid is TRULY amazing!!!

I live with a family full of professional musicians (they let me hold the music), and I have been with lots of professionals. This is a special kid with a ton of talent.

If you are interested, this piece of music is from the "Requiem" by Andrew Lloyd Weber. Here is a great video of the original, with Sara Brightman:

That isn't funny...it's dimwitted at best. I guess not everyone can sound like Meat Loaf...or whoever you DO approve of. An educated mind would know that singing alto is something that younger singers eventually grow out of, but is traditionally ALL male (that's why the Mormon Tabernacle Choir was suspected of castrating young kids to preserve their voices). You won't be listening to Andrew in this register for long. Meantime, maybe you should cut the kid some slack...unless, of course, you could do better...

It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

He'll be able to sing anywhere in the world he wants if he doesn't push his voice too hard too early. That kid could better than Pavarotti if his voice survives.
