If anyone here is a member of this forum, I need a favor. I don't want to join a forum for one question. I just got a Glock 23. Glock Talk has a thread on dating guns. Reading thru it, I can't find this serial # anywhere. The prefix is ALLxxxx Can someone check this out for me. Thanks

I tried to register once a got an email stating that my IP was blocked no Idea why so I gave up.

Just call Glock and give them the serial number. They'll tell you when it was made.

That's your best bet. I couldn't register on Glock Talk either because all I use are internet based e-mail addresses. They're afraid of spammers and all--it really is pathetic as there are more ways than one to verify an e-mail address-they just don't want to go through the trouble. Who needs them anyway the way I feel about it.

They want to nail you down with an ISP e-mail address. Unless you use your ISP address, you won't likely get in period. Like I said---who needs them if they don't want you?I couldn't register on Glock Talk either because all I use are internet based e-mail addresses

They let me on GlockTalk. Hmmm? Sometimes I go on there and look around. But, the MODS are soooo much nicer here.

I use to post alot on Glock Talk but have left the site about 6 months ago. To many prima donna LEOS there. Most of the posters are very knowledgable, but some are just butt heads. Mods are not doing there jobs, IMO. Let me say that my son is a active LEO and I AM NOT ANTI LE. Some of the leos over there don't know what false arrest or a resisting arrest mean, even though they wear a badge.
