That really raises a lot of privacy and civil issues! Maybe since neither are "identifiable" it isn't a "problem", but are they really not "identifiable"?

Regarding privacy: I think its Google's opinion that these are all public places. As long as they don't use the photos in commercials/advertisements, they should be (legally) ok.
IDK... I just used it on the street where my mom lives in Las Vegas and it isn't even close...
