Unhappy Obituary: He will be missed.

I have seen this a few times in the past, but it didn't come up under 'common sense' or 'obituary' in the searches, so I figured I would share it. If it has been posted before I am sure one of the more savvy searchers will let me know.

    Remarkable Obituary

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Mr. Common Sense.

Mr. Sense had been with us for many years. No one knows for sure
how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such value lessons as
knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the
worm and that life isn't always fair. Common Sense lived by simple,
sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable
parenting strategies (adults, not kids, are in charge).

His health began to rapidly deteriorate when well intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place- Reports of a six-year-old
boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens
suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a
teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his
    condition.

Mr. Sense declined even further when schools were required to get
parental consent to administer aspirin to a student; but, could not
inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to
    have an abortion.

Finally, Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten
    Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses;
and criminals received better treatment their victims.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and
Trust, his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son,
Reason. He is survived by two stepbrothers; My Rights and Ima
    Whiner.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.

Hadn't heard of his passing, knew he was on life support.
The situation will NEVER BE THE WAY YOU WANT, it WILL BE THE WAY IT IS. You must be FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO ADAPT and just "DEAL WITH IT".

The doctor's had to pull the plug...they figured there was no chance of him coming back.

I've often wondered where he went, I suspected he was dead but was hoping he was just on vacation.

Actually, he was killed in a car wreck...he wasn't alone.

Killed along with him were his friends, Truth, Responsibility, Work Ethic, Respect, and Appreciation.

They will ALL be greatly missed.

I don't believe they are actually dead. I believe they moved to a valley that is obscured by a high tech ray device so that the rest of society cannot see it. I only hope they find me worthy to recruit before the rest of society collapses.

NOW I remember, I did read about that. I think the other car was driven by "self serving desire" and also had as a passenger "politically correctness", which both survived.

I've heard Mr. Sense will be resurrected, but I'm not so sure if he can survive as his natural habitat has been destroyed.

    Ahem.

Not gone, just wearing a mask for now.
Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.

I think it's still around, in very limited quantities. It's just unfourtunate that it's so hard to find these days.
