Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less...Sign the Petition!!

Allow me to twist Mark Twains words into a current thought.... "Everyone talks about the high cost of oil, but nobody does anything about it". Well, maybe there are some things that we can be doing. We in this country are like infants that know not that they have fathers nor fortunes. We are rich with natural resourses; and yet due to waco-enviromentalists and Politicians we are allowing ourselves to be manipulated. In the 80's just the threat of coal-to-oil technology being developed by Reagan caused the price of oil to drop like a New York crane.

Everyone here should sign this petition at: http://www.americansolutions.com/act...b-346a1e096659
and then send it to everyone they know.

247,000 others have and it takes seconds and costs nothing, but the politicians will get the message. We have only ourselves to blame if our only actions are to snivell and wine, and the result will be more domanace by our "masters" (and thier masters [lobbyists] in Washington)

    Michael

    uhmmm.
What do you really know about American Solutions?
Last I check a petition "signed" via e-mail or web posting means nothing. A petition must be signed, physically signed.
Better be careful with what info you give out!

Why would you want to drill our oil and deplete what we have? It would be cheaper for us to invade Venezuela or simply expand our efforts in the gulf.

We may have to invade Venezuela anyway with that nutty dictator Hugo Chavez threatening us all the time.
    God bless our troops!

Well that is certainly as good a pretext as any.

Also why would drilling here lower our prices? Oil is traded on a world market and the price is set by that market. I don't see us ever producing enough to flood the market enough to influence prices. So...

How about building smaller, more energy efficient vehicles? We must end our dependence on oil!
