You know. There are some jobs that I don't care how much they paid, I just ain't taking them.
wow...fun stuff
talk about 9 lives ...
No thank you. I don't need to make money that bad.
So, out of curiosity, with proof like that, could they be charged with assault with a deadly weapon? Or attempted murder? Reckless discharge of a firearm?
That just seems really dumb to me.
BS with a Capital BS. A 44 MAG in a revover that has very little recoil. Looks like about a 10 % load.:hand1:
Maybe it's just because no one is charging him with a crime. I don't know.
I'm sure if the guy getting shot at didn't consent it would be a big deal, but since they seem to be having a good time of it, who's to be bothered but the two of them.
And no, I would not like to volunteer for that kind of testing.
No thank you!
It does make a good point about bullets not knocking you over though..lol
Anyone notice how the last rifle round hit the vest maybe 2" from the edge? Looked real close to me, anyway.
To test bullet rtesistant vests they put them on dummys, usually they are the inert ones
This guy has been doing this for years, he is the inventor of last chance body armor that most police agencies use. He actually travels the country shooting himself as a demonstration to the agencies. He's not crazy, nor is he stupid...he makes a REALLY good product, and what better way to prove it to somebody than to put it on and shoot yourself.
Billy Bob: "Hey Joe Bob, go stand over there with this vest on; I'm gonna shoot ya'."
Joe Bob: "Heh, that sounds like a mess o' fun, let me put my beer down first."
I recall seeing pics of the fella doing a similar test ages ago in some magazine, back when the WWW was all text and the software for a forum like this was a mere twinkling in some geek's eye.
Effective demonstration of the vest?
I'll give you that.
Effin' nuts?
Oh yeah.
