I want to surprise my brand new and reduced husband with a new car for loosing so much weight. However I am lost in the jungle of cars out there. And I don't know anything about then and its quality.
Requirements;
Not less then a V6
It has to be automatic
It has to have beige interior as an option
Not more then $25.000
Ok then..... $30.000
Any input and suggestions on a good quality V6?

Pontiac Solstice GXP or Saturn Sky Red Line. Small two seater sports car with plenty of zip and fun to drive with the top down. You should find one with a beige interior. Turbo charged 4 cylinder engine with the power of a V6 and good gas mileage.
Flip a coin......Camry or an Accord.
Or, if you're feeling a little irresponsible, how about a V8 Mustang?! :yup:
Well..i do like the mustang..and if i can get a v8 for the same price as a v6..i mean the fuel prices have to go down eventually..

Best value IMO right now is the Mazda 6... they do have a V6 version out but you will forget about the V6 once you test drive the speed6. Its a turbo 4 that pushes 270 hp. :danceban:
Best part is, you can drive like grandpa and still get 30+mpg bad part is it burns premium fuel.
V 8 Mustangs have better gas milage than some V6 sedans. 26K will buy a real nice V6 fusion, or a basic GT Mustang
All I have to say is this.
As much of a patriot as I'd like to be, I'll never buy another American car, or recommend an American car to anyone.
Japanese cars last almost twice as long on average, require much less maintenance, have better average fuel economy, a better warranty, and a much better reputation.
Toyota / Lexus for the win.

- PS, I drive a Lexus ES300 v6 with 73k miles and have had very little trouble with it. In the 40k I've owned it, I've replaced the starter and one transmission solenoid, total cost under $400. Great car, I highly recommend them.
My last car was also a Toyota, it gave up the ghost at 275k miles and never had any serious work done to it. That's why I'm such a Toyota fan.
Can't say from personal experience. Rented a Dodge Magnum SXT once, though, and REALLY liked it. :smile: Lotta oomph for a V6 in such a big car. The RT has a Hemi that will shut down half the cylinders when not under load, like when you're cruising on the highway.Quote:

Ditto...can have a pretty nice Lexus for 25K...I never buy new...can get a low mileage, 1-2 year old certified Lexus ES300/330 for 25K...with a warranty. And I have another one with 265K miles...Quote:
