    New ride... Mazdaspeed 3!

I finally traded in the Lincoln LS for something both frugal and fun - 260+ turbocharged horsepower, 280 lb-ft of torque... and can get nearly 30mpg on highway. Gotta love it!

Nice! That looks like a really fun car. My wife drives a regular Mazda 3 and it's great.

MS3! Hell yeah, man!! Great car!! Those things are safe as almost anything on the road. I've seen some shots of them utterly destroyed and the driver gets out and walks away. Good choice and I even dig the color. If ya don't like it, lemme know and I'll swap you for my MS Protege.

I would love one of those for my next car! Don't the Speed versions have to use premium gas?

Sure do. An extra $.20 per gallon to fill a 14.5 gallon tank means it will cost me $2.90 extra per tankful to fill up... or less than 1 cent per mile. It's worth it!

MS Protege? Didn't you own an MR2 or something before?

I'm considering one of those or a WRX for my next. Want something with more room but not an SUV yet still fun to drive.

I have the Speed6, I love that car. Its super impressive. I also drove the S3,it was a little quicker, but I like the 6's AWD and wheel base better.

I like the concept of the Speed6 - EVO or STI challenger, but less hyperactive and more suited for highway cruising - and cheaper to boot. I definitely think that the sub 20k price that I paid for this car speaks volumes about it, though - this car defines bang for your buck.

Without a doubt the 3 is the best small car out there for the money, and the S3 for us acceleration junkies is unbeatable.
My 6 does get 28-30 mpg if I stay outta the turbo... not bad for a decent sized sedan. Oh yeah, mines the same color as yours.
